Student Support Services (SSS) Proposal Writing Workshop On-Demand Recording

 

This 2-day online workshop was held on February 21 & 22, 2024. This recording is divided into sections and is approximately 10 hours in length. This recording provides the following instruction and practical skills necessary to develop a successful SSS proposal:​

4.) NEED Section: Part 2-Data Presentation

5.) OBJECTIVES Section: How Low/High Should You Go?

6.) PLAN OF OPERATION Section - Part 1: IRS, Needs Assessment, Plan to Provide Services

7.) PLAN OF OPERATION Section - Part 2: Timelines & Management Plan, etc.

8.) INSTITUTIONAL COMMITMENT Section: What tangible resources and assistance can your college provide?

9.) QUALITY OF PERSONNEL Section: Required Qualifications & Plan to Hire Personnel

10.) EVALUATION Section: Formative & Summative to Measure Project's Success

 

Registration Fee is $1,500* per Institution (unlimited number of staff) and includes resource materials and recordings of all sessions.  *Registration fee includes FREE access to all follow-up Proposal Writing Workshops and access to the NEC Client-only SSS Competition Forum. 


NEC provides services nationwide to institutions and agencies in areas of project implementation and technical assistance, professional development seminars, compliance assessment, external evaluation, as well as proposal development and technical reviews of proposals.

Please note that proposal costs are unallowable. §200.460 Proposal costs. Proposal costs are the costs of preparing bids, proposals, or applications on potential Federal and non-Federal awards or projects, including the development of data necessary to support the non-Federal entity’s bids or proposals. Proposal costs of the current accounting period of both successful and unsuccessful bids and proposals normally should be treated as indirect (F&A) costs and allocated currently to all activities of the non-Federal entity.
