NEC conducts online process-based evaluations to determine a Project’s success in delivering services to accomplish its objectives. NEC assesses the following components virtually throughout a designated timeframe:
Plan to Identify, Recruit, & Select Participants
Plan to Assess Needs & Plan to Monitor Academic Progress
Plan to Deliver Services to Participants
Academic & Supportive Activities, Services, & Workshops
Budget (Expenditures & Carryover) & External/Internal Monitoring Methods
Formative Evaluations (Review of Monthly Reports & Internal Goals)
Summative Evaluations (Review of APR and Participant/Staff/Agency/College Surveys)
Quality of Personnel & Institutional/Agency Commitment
Our process-based evaluation will provide TRIO Projects with the following benefits:
Improvement of the overall delivery and quality of services provided to its Participants;
Identification of necessary interventions and/or changes to certain program components to increase the impact of Project services on Participants;
Collection of data or outcome results for public relations and promoting Project services; and
Examination and description of effective programming components for duplication elsewhere within the institution, agency, and/or community.
$6,500 – Includes pre- and post-evaluation consultation.

You will meet with NEC staff via Zoom. All meetings will be recorded, and you will have access to them.
