SSS Professional Development Seminar

Join us for our January 7-8th Online Workshop for SSS Projects!

NOSOTROS Education Center (NEC) will conduct an ONLINE SSS Professional Development Seminar on January 7 & 8, 2021 (9 am - 4 pm - ALL TIMES CENTRAL ).

This ONLINE seminar will consist of eight (8) workshops addressing the following SSS topics:

1.) Overview of TRIO Legislation & SSS Regulations

2.) Identification, Recruitment, Selection, & Retention of Participants

3.) Services to Meet Each Objective & Plan to Assess Each Participants’ Needs

4.) Plan to Deliver Services & Academic Advising Approaches

5.) Managing the Annual Performance Report & Prior Experience Points

6.) Required Recordkeeping & Compliance Assessment Readiness

7.) Budget Management 101

8.) Formative & Summative Evaluation

Please note that this is a professional development seminar and an allowable cost - §646.30: What are allowable costs? The cost principles that apply to the Student Support Services Program are in 2 CFR part 200, subpart E. Allowable costs include the following if they are reasonably related to the objectives of the project:... (c) In-service training of project staff.
