Re-Post from Best Practices Clearinghouse

As part of our commitment to connect NEC members with beneficial resources for TRIO Projects, we may share or re-post information from time to time.
Below is a re-post from the Best Practices Clearinghouse that describes their program to share policies and procedures manuals with TRIO programs.
----
Hi GEAR UP and TRIO colleagues,
Take just five minutes to share a special gift with other GU/TRIO program directors. Share a PDF or Word copy of your program handbook or manual so it can be placed online for others in the GU/TRIO community to read. So far, the ETS program at Alpena Community College (MI); the McNair program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh; the SSS programs at the University of Central Missouri, Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN), and St. Louis Community College (Florissant Valley, MO); and the UB program at Concord University (WV) have generously shared them through the EOA Best Education Practices Clearinghouse. The links to download those documents are through these two web pages: https://besteducationpractices.squarespace.com/policies-procedures and
https://besteducationpractices.squarespace.com/policies-and-procedures-shared The Best Practices Clearinghouse shares these and many other administrative and educational practices created by GU/TRIO staff and program directors for GU/TRIO programs to serve their students. https://besteducationpractices.squarespace.com/ Our goal is to have a dozen program handbooks and manuals from each of the TRIO program categories and GEAR UP programs. During this gift-giving holiday season, consider sharing something very special with your colleagues. To share a PDF or Word version of your document, attach it to an email and send to edpractices@eoa.org We will share announcements about these donations through the national TRIO email listserv. If you have questions, contact me through edpractices@eoa.org or my cell phone, 612-812-0032. Thanks for consideration of this invitation to share your knowledge with the larger community. Together, we are stronger. Happy holidays.
